Easter Cross/Sympathy

Loving the new stamp from Wild Rose Studio. I have tried an Easter card and Sympathy but I also think I could use this stamp for a Wedding or Christening. Watch this space!

WOYWW

This is my mess this week, piled high as usual.  There are a few cards there on the left, some are commissions but the rest are for the rack. I will blog those tomorrow.  They are leaning on my favourite Copic pens.  A new phone is in the middle! This was a Christmas present, but only installed recently due to access to telephone socket (buried behind three towers of stash) a whole new area to show you one week when I feel braver!!

Now if you wander over to Julia at www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com you can visit loads of other desks. That's where I am off too. See you soon.

BIA Desk Tidy Workshop

This is the sample for the workshop on Thursday. I am always lastminute dot com.

This may not be my normal style, but really enjoyed making it, and I am happy with the end result. It was not how I had pictured it but then things never are. I have discovered that with this style there is always a way out if things dont look right. Just add another layer!

Sorry about lack of posts, daughter has been off school all week and my routine has gone to pot. She seems alot better today, temperature finally gone and ate her first meal in a week.

See you soon

These are the cards from my Floral Class today. I realised the photos yesterday was showing them on their sides. Everyone seemed to like them. Hope you enjoy them too.

WOYWW

This is me organized, nearly!  This is my workdesk, it seats nine and most days I can cover the whole table with crafty items. Today is relatively tidy but I didnt actually get to make a card.  What you can see on my desk is my workshop baskets ready for tomorrow mornings class. What you can not see is the pile of craft stuff waiting to be put away at the far end of the table.  The Cuttlebug and Happy Cuts machine are always lurking in the middle of the table. I can not have them too far away. I used them everyday. I  have an addiction to dies, have to have them, but I have an excuse, samples need to be made. Trouble is I use that excuse an awful lot, but there has to be some perks.

If you want to see some more desks pop over to Julias at www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com

Thank you to those who gave me a warm welcome last week. I am hoping to actual get round to your desks this week, last week was a bit of a disaster. Sorry.

See you later, I've got some desks to check out.

Bleaching

Today I have had a one to one technique workshop with a customer on bleaching. I had taught this class last week and she was unable to attend.  I thought I would share two cards that we made. I have to admit I was a little worried about this card, we had to spray with bleach in a mister bottle. I used a large box as a spray chamber with lots of warning signs, reminding people to check which direction they were spraying, of course I talk with experience of picking up a bottle and spraying in a totally wrong direction!! I need not have worried they all did a marvellous job.

This card seemed to be the favourite, simply stamped and embossed in copper on brown card. The butterflies then bleached out.

Whilst I was making the samples for the workshop I discovered that using a different brand of bleach gave a slightly different result. So have a play, I really enjoyed discovering what colour I was going to reveal.

That's all for today, see you tomorrow.

I will try and improve my photography for tomorrow.

A late WOYWW

OK, so I have been following Julia and her crowd of followers on Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday for a while now. This week I have taken the plunge and decided to create this blog, both to be able to join in with this great event and record the cards I create.

In this photo, all looks quite organized, but I promise I am not! I work in complete chaos. I will reveal all when I am feeling a little braver!

As I am late this week already, I will keep this brief, allowing me to tell you all about myself next week.

Thanks for looking.
